Methodology
How PornstarCentral turns Pornhub metadata into rankings, and what the numbers do and do not mean.
The dataset
We track 24,782 videos and 3,880 performers. For each video we store the views, the number of votes and the rating percentage, the categories and the credited performers, all as published by Pornhub. Data is refreshed daily; the last update was on 7 Nov 2026.
All figures describe the videos in this dataset. They are a sample, not a performer's complete career.
Who counts as a performer
A video is credited to a performer only when Pornhub lists that performer in the video's structured metadata. We never infer identities from titles or images, and only performers listed in the Pornhub pornstar directory are ranked.
Most viewed
The sum of views across a performer's tracked videos.
Vote-weighted score
A plain average would let a performer with one 100% video beat someone with thousands of votes. We therefore use a weighted score:
score = (R × v + C × m) / (v + m)
Here R is the performer's vote-weighted average rating, v the number of votes, C the average rating across the whole dataset, and m = 200 a fixed number of "neutral" votes. With few votes the score stays close to the dataset average; with many votes it approaches the performer's own rating. To appear in the top-rated ranking a performer needs at least 500 votes. Top videos use the same formula, with a minimum of 200 votes.
Categories
Category rankings sum the views of a performer's videos in that category. Categories with fewer than 10 ranked performers are not given their own leaderboard.
Trends
We store a snapshot of every performer's statistics each day. "Rising" compares today's most-viewed rank with the rank of 7 days earlier, and only appears once that history really exists (2 days collected so far).
Corrections and removal
To report an error or ask for a performer to be removed, email dmca@fapmovies.com with the page address. Removed performers are excluded from all future updates.
All performers are adults aged 18 or over.
